oh yes, i received a postcard from yoyo!!! what a big surprise.
not just any picture of her. it's a picture of her in a diaper *giggle* (she's on heat)
hmmmm...i can't really see the diaper on her clearly *giggle* oh well....
i miss her so much! i hope mummy can pick her up on our way to the singapore expo for the dog show next month. it'll be her 1st time to experience the event & to meet so many dogs! i'm sure she will be so excited & scared @ the same time. and i won't forget to introduce her to my all paw friends!

just as i was slumbering into my favorite position, i smelled 'someone' very familiar.
'auntie lynette?' i thought to myself, vaguely conscious. 'nah! it's impossible. it's almost midnight'
then i heard it.
'princess!'
i jumped up. look around. wagging my tail as hard as i can.
'princess!'
'auntie lynette. it is you!' i wagged my tail harder.
auntie lynette hugged me & smooched me. immediately, i lost control of my bladder... *oopppss* i stained auntie lynette's top *blush*
i was so excited to see auntie lynette. when i was just a little girl, auntie lynette took care of me & taught mummy how to rise a puppy...she took me travelling around sydney too!
oooohhh, those were the days!
'where's loppy?' i asked her, 'i'd like to play with him!'
'sigh. loppy is old (14years old) & weak now. maybe i'll bring him here when he feels better?'
'huh!? loppy isn't feeling well? please kiss loppy for me?'....
an hour later, auntie lynette left. but my heart is heavy....i miss loppy & hope he gets better soon.

another pet grooming shop opening

as dongdong & i were playing hide & seek last evening, we saw a short queue (of puppies & dogs) on the opposite side of the park.
we found out what's the commotion is all about...
there'll be a new pet shop opening in our vicinity & now they are trying to broadcast it to pet owners...
they were providing 1 free service from their basic grooming menu. i chose paw pads clipping & dongdong elected to have his anal gland expressed!

uncle jeff & auntie ruth decided to go fishing @ 12am. i was excited to join them, but granny rejected that idea, because 'small kids' aren't suppose to go out after dark, especially midnight.
*huff* i was so sore about it.
however auntie ruth saw through my disappointment & agreed to sneak me out in a big bag, since granny usually sleeps @ 10pm.
*giggle* uncle jeff & auntie ruth will bring me home @ 4am, before granny wakes up @ 5am!

well well, finally, singapore has guide dogs for the visually impaired!
it's so painfully long overdue.
singapore's 1st guide dog: golden retriever Kendra! she's a gift from usa... a dog trained in San Francisco by Guide Dogs for the Blind.

when mummy came home last night, i immediately identify the smell of another pet (i never knew). so, being jealous, i pounced on mummy & insisted a name.
mummy told me her friend adopted yoyo, a female (1.5 years old) King Charles Spaniel, & would like to introduce her to me!
obviously i'm delighted!
so, we exchanged photos of each other (thru' our mummies) & decided to meet next week, when yoyo had settled down comfortably in her new home! *bliss*

my buddy taught me a trick:
i'll have to make mummy feel guilty she shaved me naked, so that mummy don't repeat the same mistake again.
so i hid my excitement & acted with contemptuous nonchalance when mummy tried to humor me.
*giggle* it worked! i overheard that she confided in granny.
honestly, it was a traumatic experience for me. do you how it feels for a girl to be exposed? i feel so vulnerable each time i'm shaved!

ever since mummy shaved me bald, i've been feeling empty... a persistant helplessness, & lost interest in my hobbies. i also felt a decrease in energy level & fatique. i've had insomnia (or nightmares) & lost my appetite totally...
but after talking to my imaginary friend, i'm back to my normal excited mood again!
mummy finally heaved a sigh of relieve, when i showed interest in my food again.
